If Dead Money G doesn't come up with something, I will run one. Actually, not to slight you G, but you are a new poster for people to be posting up $1000 with you. I am not trying to step on your toes, but I believe most wouldn't feel comfortable. I'd be glad to escrow or run it or help out. I like the idea. Regardless, I think we should do it.

imo you should make it a snake dratf 2 give everyone an equal chance. Also you should draft at least 5 players because i believe that the winner would be determined more by skill also in case a short stop wins it there would be a better shot that he may have been drafted. my one question would be how do you choose who gets the 1st pick

it is random in my baseball and football drafts we pick playing cards ace is the 1st pick 10 is the last pick however i think an auction draft would be better for pool say you have a $100 bankroll you could have different stategies you could bid almost all of your money on a guy like SVB but then the rest of your team would be weak lets say you spend 75 on SVB then you would only have 25 left to get 4 more guys Somebody could spend say 20 on 5 different guys that all have an outside chance at winning say its the us open would you rather have SVB and 4 guys with no shot at winning or would you rather have a 40 dollar guy and a few others who can get deep it brings more strategy in either way i think it will be fun

My suggestion was to draft different players for each tournament. This way you get players in each tournament rather than hoping that SVB plays in all of them. IF we did it this way, then each "team owner" would get one opportunity to draft 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.

I say we start before the next major tournament. If anyone has any other rules suggestions, please post them here. Everyone also post whether they prefer $50 or $100; majority will rule here.
