what a loser this joe tucker is ! joss tour heading down ! joe will do whatever possible to make the joss tour fold and future looks dimmer then ever!hopefully mr.z-man will get a tour.dir. with education and people skills not a low life pool bum like joe sucker and his ugly people skills. after spendin many years involved at promoting pool and its future trying to make it a funtime has become a horror time punks like sucker joe r winning the battle to destroy the future of pool for everyone.the time has come for a better life far away from scumbags like joe sucker and poolhalls !my advice to all parents whos children r interested in pool to do whatever possible to keep them out of poolrooms and away from losers like joe sucker .poolrooms r for people who wanna see other people as unhappy as they r.pool is heading down faster than ever thanx to people like joe the loser.when will the battle to make pool worthy ? ive givin up my battle the cancer has been spread so long i dont see a recovery for pool on any level . parents beware for your kids pool has no future for a gd life and family ties.o ya if u need a cigarette just ask joe he'll gldly watch u get sick hoping u will be more uhapppy then he is.

He wasn't stalling, he was torturing one of our local "C" players, who happens to be one of the nicest guys and best customers in the building and Marty just kept berating the guy during the match and I did ask him a few times to stop. I believe he may be the only player I ever had to forfeit out of a tournament and I've run about 500!
But I do have a pretty bad memory?

Isn't the tournament that Joe tossed him out of , the WEEKLY handicap tournament? I think i was actually up at Snookers that following weekend for a tournament and Joe was talking to me about that anonymous post.

Pretty funny.

When my situation happened, i never realized how this guy had rubbed so many people the wrong way. I had SEEN him act up, but never had to deal with him personally. I was just reacting like i would to anyone who decided to talk to me in the way that he did.
I only realized after the incident, how many people disliked him.

Mika's match had finished, and Marty had left, and then Cliff had won his match and came over to give his girl a hug and kiss.
So Cliff and myself were talking a little, and i noticed an entourage of people standing to the side looking over at us.
So i wished him luck, and started to leave.

I thought the people were there wanting to talk to him or get his autograph, but instead of walking towards Cliff, they followed me ouside the room to the hallway and approached me as i was standing in line at the snack window.


There were 3 of them, and they had watched the whole thing from a few seats over and these guys thought i was some sort of hero or something for telling Marty off. They knew him from the N.E. area and were SO HAPPY to see someone put him in his place, and the one guy was in complete amazement that i actually got Marty to stop talking. He said that he had never seen it happen before, and that usually, Marty goes down with his mouth ablaze spewing out all sorts of insults, and NEVER EVER shuts up.
Then the guy insisted on paying for my food and drink, congradulated me, told me good job, and wished me luck in the tournament. They sweated my next match, and then i never saw them again.



The only other time it came up, was a few days later near the end of the 9 ball when i was walking down the main hallway looking at the merchandise. This guy who i have never seen before came walking by me, looked at me with a big smile, pumped his fist, and said something to the effect of..."nice job putting that bald asswipe his place" as he walked by.

i still have no idea who he was.

i'm cracking up just sitting here typing, and was cracking up when i read his name in the title of the thread.
and...knowing me, i will most likely crack up whenever his name ever comes up in the future.

i mean...how can anyone who has actually seen him go off, not get a kick out of it. PURE ENTERTAINMENT!

Did Marty call any of you guys or email you personally since this thread started?? Well that idiot has been sending me email and calling my phone non-stop.. He doesnt like that i called him a cheat and a liar.

So lets keep the stories about this baffoon coming so that this thread stays on top of the forum. The more we share our stories, the better. Maybe it might force the SOB to quit playing pool someday.

Btw, his profanity laced email to me is still available to all if you want to read it....So far Ive emailed maybe 8-10 of you AZ'ers.

C'Mon buddy. The guy is entertainment but for all the wrong reasons. A complete idiot who deserves all the crap he gets for acting the way he does. Best of luck in the states this weekend!

SUPERSTAR, if you are going to be at the Joss finale I owe you a bunch of drinks for that. Good stuff and I would have paid decent money to see it. I completely understand what those guys were feeling and I probably would have reacted the exact same way.

I, unfortunately, won't be at the Joss finale as i don't travel around to play pool anymore.

But....if i DO decide to ever start up again, I will definitely let you know cause the drinks are gonna be on me. Laughing at this guy just puts me in too good of a mood.
Just keep your eyes open for a thread titled "A TOAST TO MARTY HERMAN"
To signify that i am indeed travelling around again.
We can the coordinate the get together that EVERYONE CAN ATTEND and i'll propose a toast to him for bringing us all together and giving us a good laugh.

Hi,
One time in the US Open Marty drew Jim Rempe.Rempe did not know who marty was .Before the match Rempe asked me about him.I told Rempe that Marty was from Boston area,a player to reckon with and if he allowed him to get up from the ground he will kick u and so keep stomping even if he is already on the ground.That is exactly the same words I used.Then Rempe did exactly the same and the score was 10 - 0.Then in the 11 game Rempe dozed and Marty won the game.In game number 12 Rempe was all over Marty and beat him 11 -1.
