anyone know the California player Kuykendoll (sp?)

At the 14.1 world championships, this player vanished. He qualified for this event in california, travelled 3000 miles, played his first 2 scheduled matches on Monday, then disapeared. He didn't speak with any of the players or promoters, as he just left word through the hotel he was leaving.

Seems like an awful lot of trouble to go through to just up and quit. I figure perhaps an emergency?

If anyone can find out any info, I would surely appreciate it.

He owns Danny K's, a big poolroom/sports bar in Orange County. Danny is a competitor too, so I am kind of surprised he would just quit. Wayne Norcross was his 14.1 mentor, so Danny could play the game.

I'll see his brother in Austin this weekend and see if I can find out what happened.
