Just curious. I was looking at cues online the other day when I got a pop-up from the Hercek website. I looked over the inventory and saw some really good looking cues. The joint looked kinda funny though. I was just wondering if anyone here has owned/played with one. I didn't get around to calling for prices so I don't know what they are asking for their cues. www.hercek.com

I've shot with a Hercek; if you're looking for a cue that has the best elements of just about everything a cue could ever have -- ever -- you can't go wrong with him.

With the kudos you give this cuemaker, I'm surprised that more people on this forum haven't chimed in. If their cues are that good, surely someone else on this site must own one or have shot with one  !!!

Do a search for hercek and you should get plenty of info. He seems to be very highly regarded.

hercek cues are one of the best cues you could get on the playability and collectability standpoint.just go ahead and figure spending $2000 starting price and get on the 7 or 8 year wait list.

Herceks are a great cue. Top notch work and they play great. Havent played with one I didnt like. I believe the wait is about 10 years. They do start around 2000 for a pretty plain cue. As an investment you should be able to get most if not all your money back. In the last 18 months they are getting high prices.

Prices????

I think that Mr. Hercek (Burtain Spain's Lathe Helper) makes a great old-school cue. Maybe he could sell more cues if he charged old-school prices??

He doesn't want to make and sell more cues. He has a several year waiting list and definitely has one of the best reps among cuemakers. He doesn't get huge prices for his cues either. The cues that are sold on the open market have dictated the high prices.
