Anyone Own Video of Efren?

Guys, I am organizing a TV match with Efren in China and need some video content to use in the lead up promotion TV ads.

I need video that someone has the rights to. Something close to broadcast quality...it could be digitally played with. Also, any quality photos that we could use?

It would just be for in China and just during the event promotion. I just need to avoid infringements of rights.

Can anyone help with personal video or quality photos?

This does not include files you've downloaded from the net which are probably owned in a legal sense by someone else.

Should be able to find a match with Efren here. If you want to download it you can use any part of it for you show in China. I hope it's a success.

I thought China had none or very relaxed intellectual property laws? I worked for a company that produced printed content and a few printing facilities in China were duplicating our products. I was told it was legal for them to do it. They even called us a few times to ask for out digital files so they would not have to recreate them lol

Do you know what resolution the video downloads are? Do they look reasonably clear at full screen?

Also, there was a bit of jumping in the video in the samples of Efren. Is this just caused by the streaming?

Also, sorry for all the questions, but do you own the rights to those videos' or is it just the general policy of that website that downloaders obtain certain rights to the videos?

Actually, IP laws here are pretty much the same as most countries, partly as a condition of entry into the WTO.

It's enforcement which is rare, so most industries find ways around IP restrictions. But for television production, with TV stations being partly governmental bodies, they need to follow their own rules strictly.

Hey Colin,

Not sure what resolution the video downloads are. My partner Bryce handles the computer stuff and he is on vacation right now. If you download the video I believe the quality is very good. We own the rights to those videos so feel free to use the parts you need for your production. If it ends up that it's not good enough quality I might be able to get a dvd of it and send it too you. Can't promise you'll get that any time soon though. Best of luck.

Thanks for the clarification Al,
I saw in another section that the d'loads can be played through the TV so they should be pretty good. Good enough for 5 seconds with some special effects added.

I'll probably need it within the next week so DVD would be out of the question.

So unless someone else has some good short, quality clips of Efren, I'll probably register and download and see how it turns out.
