Anyone played on a table that is non-rectangular?

When 8-ball, 9-ball, 10-ball becomes...ahem *boring* or too methodical probably from memorization of angles on a rectangle table. Let's introduce this:

Seriously, I wanna see a star-table, polygon table, cross table, and all other complex shapes just for the lulz. Kind of reminds me of the old Nintendo game I played

My Dad went in with two other people to start making and selling round and a hexagon pool tables back in the 1950's. He said it was going to be the next best pool game. Didn't work out that way. Johnnyt
 
Yup

Played on an L shaped table once...and only once. It was pretty gimmickey. Good for just hanging out with friends while drinking, but wouldn't bet YOUR dime on a game.
 
I have seen folks play on a trapezoidal table. Very interesting. There was also an Egyptian man I met that played on a table shaped like an eye, that was really cool.
