Anyone recommend a conversion maker?

I have 3 cues arriving today or tomorrow.
2 old Brunswick's, 1 with butterfly splices the other with the green veneers (Willie Hoppe), other is a Titleist 4 pointer.

Basically wants butt caps put on, stainless joints on the butterfly and Titleist, shafts and maybe some MoP or ivory inlays on one. Though I'm not dead set on anything as of yet and am open to ideas/designs, so if you have any pictures of conversions I'd like to see them along with recommendations of who to have do the work.

Not in any rush to get them done, though the sooner the better, but defiantly want quality work.

Thanks in advance.

I just picked this one up. It was done by Jim Buss in 1998.

He has better pictures on his web page: JimBuss.com

Beautiful Purple wood! Wish the Titleist I bought was the same.:(

Hows the balance with all the inlays and extra point work?

joe c (callaluca) did mine and is in the process of doing one for bama and one for badabing. mine came out fantastic, i was really impressed with joe's work, he is really an up and coming cuemaker. he is very reasonable and would do a great job for you. i can send you pictures of mine and others he has done if you like.

The balance is perfect for me. This cue was made for somebody else. I talked to Jim about a couple of new shafts and he said it would take about 1 week. He is going to make new rings for them also.

I just picked up another Hoppe on ebay, (like i need another, never thought i would win it with the low price i bid) and i have already sent it to Mike Webb who posts on this board. I am in no rush in getting it back so we agreed i would pick it up at turning stone casino in august..first conversion, can't wait...................mike

What about Paul Rubino?

I have never played with his cues, but have seen pictures of a few of his conversions, which are all very classical.

Good choice buddy. I've seen Mike's work with conversions and it is top-notch. Hope to see you at the Turning Stone but only if my trip to Ireland falls through.
