Anyone refurb cases?

Is that what they call it? I know it's one heavy son of a gun. if i remember right,these came with the Master series cues back in the early to mid 90's.
McDermott SuperMac cases were mostly seen at the same time as the D-series McDermott cues if I remember correctly. I'm sure that someone will be able to shed more light on this, but the D-series McDermott cues were from 1984-1990. There has been a general concensus that the SuperMac cases were from around sometime in the 80's which is consistent with the D-series cues. I don't know the exact time frame SuperMac cases were around, but they are very solid cases. So solid, that you could run them over with a truck and the cue would survive because the cases had a metal exterior shell. It appears to be aluminum.

thanks for pic....yes thats the same type I have. It came w a D-19 in it. I want to restored both cue and case. Care need to be taken when refurbishing this case. The wood end caps when sanded down could take the McDermott logo right off.
