Anyone switched from revo 12.4 or 12.9 to the new 11.8?

Share your thoughts please, how was the change? It is expensive to just buy and hope for the best, I’d like to read some reviews but as I searched it doesn’t seem to be that many peeps trying it thus far, but if you did please tell me.

especially if you switched form revo 12.4 to the 11.8, did it feel alright straight away or took awhile to adjust?
 
I played with a Revo 12.4 for about 2 years and just got my Revo 11.8 about a month ago. I’ve gambled about 100+ games in cheap sets. Because the deflection is pretty much the exact same as the 12.4, I noticed zero difference in my game. But there is something in my subconscious that just likes playing with a thinner shaft. I prefer it.

I thought it would see foreign and awkwardly small at first but honestly I didn’t even notice. If anything the 12.4 looks bigger than I remember it and the 11.8 feels the same size as I’ve always used. I had the same phenomenon when I went from 13 to 12.4.

I think if anything the hit has more of a tink to it than the 12.4. And lots of people complain about that with the 12.4. Most of the time it is unnoticeable. Probably just unfamiliarity. But trying out something like a Cynergy or just a wood cue for a short amount of time really makes the difference noticeable. It’s subtle. It doesn’t make a difference for me. It’s just the natural resonance of the material. It’ll be higher pitched. Honestly the stick could honk like a clown nose when I hit the ball and I’m not sure that would get in my head. But for some people, that’s everything.
 
I have been playing with the 12.4 Revo ever since it came out. Prior to that I had played with the Z3 / 11.8mm for a long time. So, when the 11.8 Revo came out I ordered it directly from Predator. When I received it I immediately suspected something was wrong. I measured it at the vault plate - not the tip - and it was 12.07mm. I couldn't believe they let this out. Since then I have spoken with others in different sites and have found out that a lot of the new 11.8's are actually 12mm. I have yet to send it back because I'm a lazy procrastinator but I have let them know about it. They responded with a request that I call them.
