Anyone with severe glaucoma still trying to play Pool or 3C?

I only have 10% vision in my right eye now, sort of a good thing I'm, 'Left Eye Dominant.' But, the depth perception is poor!

Funny thing, I got new glasses to play with, playing pool NO problems, but playing 3C with them isn't working! can't understand it. Going to the eye guy end of the week.

the reason you are having trouble playing 3c with your glasses is because the pockets are so small you cant see them.....:D
bill you know i am just kidding ..:)

I've been taking 3 different glaucoma drops since 2003, but fortunately the effects are balanced between each eye, so that it doesn't affect my pool playing. There's an overall blind spot just above the point where I focus on the balls, but that's it. I'm just crossing my fingers that the drops keep working, but so far I just have to watch my head when I walk under low hanging branches.

Glasses really don't help much for glaucoma, because glaucoma is a disease of the retina, not the lens. You need to religiously follow the prescribed treatment to slow down the disease. My dad was diagnosed with glaucoma about 10 years ago. Nowadays he can qualify for being legally blind and the injections into the eyes no longer work.
