APA Grand Slam Patch Question

How do you receive your APA Grand Slam patch?

I always assumed this was given out by way of the league operator, but I saw on an APA league site where you mail in one each of your 8OB, 8BR, 9OS, 9BR to the main APA office and then they will mail you back a Grand Slam patch.

A Grand Slam patch is given if you get an 8OB, 8BR, 9OS, & 9BR all in the same session. So since this is fall session, if by the end of the regular season you have all the on breaks and B&R's, you can get the Grand Slam. It is not a "lifetime achievement" thing, it can be earned every session.

LO gives them out every time you get 8 and 9 on break and run out in 8 and 9 ball. I've gotten multiple in the days before I was suspended from APA. You just have to find someone to rack terribly in 8 ball so it shoots into the corner when you break and this is easily accomplished.
 
I got one by getting 3 balls in a row 10 times. and shaking my opponents hand after every single match. Some guys got it for downing 6 pack during a single game. Strange rules this APA league has.

I should have been more clear sorry. You have to get an 8 break and break and run in the same 8 ball match. Same goes for 9 ball. Ours are mini slams while a grand slam you would do the same playing 8 ball and 9 ball the same night. You either play double jeopardy or in two divisions (8 ball 9 ball) same night. Or accomplish the same during a tournament weekend.
 
In our area, a Mini Slam patch would be given to an individual by getting a 8 ball on the break plus, a 8 ball break -n- run or 9OB-9b&r in one night, same game. A Grand Slam is achieved by getting a 8&9 on the break plus a 8&9 break and run in one session. All are given out by our league operator or you can pick one up at EBay for $3. Ron.
