APA Rules Question - Switching Cues

Where do the rules state that you can't catch the c/b after it has dropped off the table into the pocket? Curious.

Um, wow. This is about jump cues? Look, in my opinion, the APA is the lone organization willing to put their foot down about jump cues. What's more, you're talking about a league that primarily consists of beginner/intermediate players who don't even know how to use a jump cue. I think this keeps things simple and doesn't turn an otherwise casual league into an equipment war.
I don't disagree with you about the league or the jump sticks -
I just make the childish attempt to point out - since you can't make rules for every contigency in life or pool - nor should you have to - sometimes comonsense should suffice -and what price are we willing to pay in order to win? as patrick henry was so fond of saying "is life so dear or peace so sweet?"
did busta really try to get away with a bad hit?
as sitting bull once said - "these are my last words on this subject"
