APA Singles Nationals

I'll be there for 8 ball this year (3rd yr in a row for me). I'll be in the Skill Level 7 bracket.
 
anyone need someone to carry their sticks? I will sleep on the floor :smile:
 
Sorry, 8up, I've got my girl going there with me, so she'll be hauling the goods around. :eek:

I was hoping maybe I'd actually meet one of these AZ people in person and possibly, just maybe, set up a little match. 3rd time in a row, Soto? Sounds like you should be giving me weight. ;)
 
i have the regional singles this weekend for 9 ball (sl 5). so i guess i'll update on sunday as to whether i'll be joining some of you in vegas.
 
I'll be going for 8-ball as a SL-6. I qualified for regional 9-ball, but lost to the same player twice; by two balls each match. :eek:

Yep this will be my 3rd time there. Back in 2008 in went 2 and done. My first time in Vegas and I was partying like a rock star. Last year I went for 9 ball. I played good but my break abandoned me in my 4th match. I am more focused this year. So we'll see what happens.

That sounds good Banks, I'm down for that. Then maybe a good practice session afterwards. Good luck to all the other AZ'ers that are playing this weekend.

thank you. if i do make it i'm going to try to find a screen printer locally to make me a black shirt with big white letters that just says JRT30004 (a la VINCE from T.C.O.M.) so if i do see any azer's i wouldn't be hard to miss. i hope i make it there, i would love to meet some other folks from other areas.
 
I got mine tomorrow in SL6 bracket...

I have my regional in Nebraska tomorrow. Wish me luck and if I make it I'll buy you a beer in Vegas.
 
I will be going to Vegas for 8 ball in the SL7 bracket. This will be my first time. Last year I was out for the Masters (finished 33rd), and the year before with my team (finished "stink").

My game is pretty good right now, so hopefully I can do well.

sadly i will not be seeing any of you there. made my way undefeated to the finals in the regionals and came up short. i wish all of you who are going the best of luck.
 
made it to the second day of regionals and scratched my way to a first game loss, but good luck to everybody else and congratulations to Isaac Wooten for beating some very strong players. Maybe I will see some of you guys at the end of the month for the southwest.
 
I will be playing in the skill level 7 board . Will be arriving a day or two early to hit some of the Vegas golf courses. If any AZ'ers would care to join me on the links, they have some really nice courses there.Would also like to get some pool practice in with some fellow members. Maybe we could all arrange to meet somewhere. What do you guys think?
