I have airfare booked, but no hotel yet. Was expecting Westgate's casino host to comp a suite but I waited until the last minute. Now the 27 & 28th is full.

UPDATE: Just booked a "backup" room at Circus just in case...

UPDATE: I need the 28th and 29th.

If anyone is interested in selling your room at Westgate for a little walking-around money, shoot me a PM. Maybe shack-up with a teammate??

Likely we will need to complete check-in together (since the room is already booked under you through APA), then add me to the room... I have references, lol. Just throwing it out there...

I would sleep in a cheap rental car in the middle of the dessert before I stay at circus circus. Lol come on man it’s Vegas. For a few more dollars you can do a lot better then that

That's fair. It's the closest. But yeah, I don't intend to stay there. Thanks

I've never been to Las Vegus so I don't know my folks always stayed at the Horseshoe when Benny owned it back in the day . I'll be there at some point in time so I'm asking where's a good place to stay that won't break the bank .
Or should I bring a 5 th wheel camper ha ha

If you're going for pool, the actual venue is your best option.

A few years ago, we decided to quit staying on the strip. Now days it's overpriced and under-delivers. From rooms, to drinks, to table limits. Been there, done that. We have more fun downtown (where prices are 'normal') and usually end up there, anyway. That said, our last few trips to Vegas were Westgate. But, for what it's worth, I've had my eye on Plaza on Fremont St... The Linq/ Harrahs area is also good. Priced mid-range from what I've seen. It's a bustling area with a lot in close proximity. Just beware of In-N-Out Burger. That stuff is addicting.

Playing pool or going to watch either the NFR or PBR finals , I don't gamble or drink so that's not a problem but I enjoy eating ha ha

Go find one of those timeshare companies and sit through a 1-2 hour presentation and get a free room ;) It won't be on the strip but it's free and it's cheap.

One of my teammates did that when I went and we got two rooms about 6-8 miles south of the venue. It's definitely better if you can stay at the same site as the tourney but free is always good too.

The WG is not the 1st-100th choice of a hotel to stay at in Las Vegas.
Problem for pool is the same for Cornhole and Darts.
People have a drink and rather than throw it away, they just throw it on the ground.
Trash the places and we get stuck in this endless cycle of only really bad places to play in.

Back in the arm wrestling days we had to stay at the Imperial Palace, and play pool at the Riveria, not sure if those were the WG's of that era.
Someone else may chime in on that.
