what type of spraygun do you use to apply your clearcoat?...airbrush or binks style...what tip size do you prefer? i am a newbie and i am trying to buy the right equip ..the first time around.... thanks greg

i would buy the size in between the airbrush and the big guns with maybe a 1.0 needle.

i bought an Iwata LPH-80 and it is just about right.i think the fan adjusts from 2-6 inches.i think the LPH-50 would be too small for my hands.

i think the Sata minjet 4 would be the equivilent.

spray gun

Sata mini-jet 1.0SR nozzle set. The better the gun, the less sanding you will do.

I'm not sure if the links work but these guns will work great for cues. No reason to buy a $300.00 gun when you can spend $29.99. I think it's even on sale for $14.00.
If we were spraying $300,000.00 hotrods with a tri-coat cherry pearl you'd need a perfect gun.
You get what you pay for in spray guns...those cheapos have really bad spray patterns as well as just not holding up to use...
