since Dufferin cues manufactured in Canada will no longer be available, would it be advisable to keep them in the hope that they will appreciate?

I've a couple of their 2-piece Phantoms which I intend to keep because I like how they hit. Do I think their value will rise, not in my lifetime.

Dufferin produced so many cues that it will take a very, very long time for most of them to appreciate. There are some like the Trophy snooker cue that has already gone up in price.

Not intending to disparage the esteemed posters above me, I have a Dufferin Phantom that has appreciated considerably. First $500 gets to take it home ! Anyone ?

Only 'cause you're close, and I feel sorry for you with your terrible weather there, I'll ship it to you. Of course if you want to come visit a beautiful city that doesn't end up under water every spring, you are welcome to pick it up.

PS I see where the UofS Huskies (#2) will play UofM (#4) on TSN in a couple of weeks, it should be a good one !

PPS :D

Last time I drove through Saskatchewan I think I slept half the way. I think I woke up around Indian Head. Good thing the highway was straight.
jk of course.

To stay on topic(kinda) I did have my dufferin cue in the trunk of the car. :p I sure appreciated it when I got to Winterpeg and played some. :D

I think their older one piece house cues will rise. I have a dozen or so and they are among the best house cues available. I don't think anyone's going to get rich off of them, but if you can buy them for $10 they might be worth $30 in a few years.

Oops, I should have included the denomination ... mine is going for $500 CANADIAN dollars :p Free shipping to Winterpeg :p

Dave, who really thinks that they made so many cues for so many years that they will not be scarce for quite a while .... OK $400 CANADIAN and I'll put on a new LePro !
