Wow. I can't believe I got to see that for $8.95.
I came in when the first set was 10-9 sky. I knew svb had been down 10-3 so I was shocked. I was hoping sky would win just so i could sweat the second set.
The second set was a blur. I think svb was up 6-3 and made an error, and I'm pretty sure sbv only got 2 more shots. Sky ran to 7-6, then made an error. SVB went up 8-7 and scratched or something. Then Sky ran a few more racks and came up dry at maybe 10-8? Then SVB ran out two racks, dry broke, and watched sky run out the set. So again, from 6-3 ahead he lost 15-10 with two more turns at the table. And SVB got 4 racks in his two turns so it wasn't like he gave up/
But what was most amazing to me is that from the time I joined the first set, I only saw 1 safety played!!! SVB played a safe in the middle of the second set. I never saw Sky play a safe. They both ran out from EVERYWHERE. Tables with multiple clusters, and they had lock up safes- NOPE. They ran out.
It was truly the best bar 8 I've seen, and I've left my home pool room a few times in my day...

To bad this gives Sky no MC points for the win over a monster field ,I hope Wilson at least is paying attention

I'm glad that Sky played well, but 8 Ball and 9 Ball are such different games that I don't feel that any 8 Ball tournament should earn anyone MC points.
