Aramith Cleaner left balls with spots

It's a fair point. With this said any polisher compound is bound to leave some sort of surfactant on the balls regardless of silicone composition or otherwise. I wipe my Aramiths down in a two stage process with two micro fibers over 500 gsm from the rag company. Not much of it is left imho. I see no residual deposits anywhere on my cloth, return lines, or in the main return area. (I would see hazing in the black return lines that would indicate wax build up) I have good piece of mind knowing I can actually scrub out the residual wax out of the carpet of the machine with isopropyl alcohol wipes. The aramith stuff seems really tacky and Glen warned me of this. I don't know if even alcohol can break this stuff down. Also with the inherent slickness of the product I don't need to worry about balls circling at a high RPM with no lubrication. Anyway I hope the OP gets his balls sorted that is not a cheap set he has.

Cheers
Brent
When the alcohol and aramith mixture I mentioned is spryed on while the machine is running, it seems the alcohol keeps the Aramith from settling on the balls. Very unscientific, but I just opened a new box of Dynaspheres and right from the box they have the same squeaky clean feel of balls after a round in the cleaner. I do wipe them down with a micro cloth afterward just in case any of the Aramith adhered to the ball from the cleaning strips after the cleaner stops. The cleaned balls always play similar to a brand new set but MOST of all, all sets play, squirt, throw very CONSISTENTLY and that is what I prefer.

Aramith at 100% has been tested and found to throw very consistently right out of the ball machine, just FYI.

While I understand that, the 100% Aramith clogs the cleaner much more quickly. The mixture described in a cleaning machine is a really nice balance of outstanding consistency and clean / polished balls without gumming up the cleaning pads.

Maybe I'll try that. Up to now I've been removing the cleaner before putting them in the machine, as I mentioned earlier.

I hope your results are what you are looking for. It seems to me that if you apply Aramith cleaner, then wipe it all off by hand, the machine wouldn't even be needed? What difference in the balls do you see from the machine after you have done step 1 of applying and step 2 of removing before putting in the cleaner? I am genuinely curious. Since I got my cleaner I have not done ANY hand wiping or polishing except if there is a significant pocket mark the cleaner doesn't get.

I don't spend a lot of time hand wiping the cleaner off the balls - just enough to get the cleaner dust off them and pop them in the machine. I don't need the hand cramps. There are still some scuffs and marks on the balls that the machine takes care of. The machine also seems to get the balls evenly shiny. Honestly, I don't use the Aramith cleaner nearly as much as I probably should. The balls don't open up as much as they could, but, hey, that's good practice too. I don't exactly remember the last time I used Aramith. It seems like if I just buff the balls in the machine they get nice and clean without any additional cleaner.

I had a bad experience where someone on AZ recommended Novus 1 as a ball cleaner so I tried it. I subsequently did throw tests and found that it wasn't good. I had to replace the pads in my machine as the Novus had soaked in. Now that I only use Aramith I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have some of it in the machine pads. I kind of like the idea of spraying something right into the machine lightly each time, or maybe every other time, I clean them. Diluting the Aramith so highly doesn't sound like a good idea but if it seems to work well then might give it a try. I'm a little gun shy from the last brilliant DIY idea I tried on ball cleaning, lol.

Very fair post. After a bad experience it makes sense to be cautious. I have been using this w my Claen Gleem for several months with good results. I now have just a bit of visible cleaner residue on the cleaning strips. The machine seems to be cleaning BETTER. As time goes on, if the residue gets a bit more prevalent, I am going to use plain alcohol and let what is on the pads do the work. I wondered if the maker had observed anything like this, but I suppose not. His reply went a different direction. I will keep updating as time passes.
