Aramith Pro Cup TV cue ball is yellow

I've seen a couple real Aramith measle cue balls with a yellow tint. I assumed they were older and smoked stained.

Our room has 10 measle cue balls.
The 3 newest are yellowish...
..the 7 oldest..at least a year +.. are very white.

And they are all Arimith..came in the right package....
.and have 6 dots...not 8
Thanx again for that info Sean

Had to replace 3 balls 'cause the dots were indented...
I figure the dots were used as an aiming device for breaking....
..with phenolic tips...thinking of barring those

I have an original Aramith measle cue ball I got from a vendor ar World Champs in Manila in 2007, opened the pack this year. And you wouldn't call it white, it is a bit yellowish as well (pretty much like ivory but less yellow color). So I wouldn't say yellow equals a knockoff.
