Archer/Deuel, Doodles Did me right!

I just wanted to say a few nice words about Clayton at Doodles Billiards. I ordered the Archer/Deuel DVD set from him (the match was played at Doodles in Georgia). I didn't get around to watching the 2 set DVD's for a couple of months. Anyway, the 2nd DVD was bad. I wrote Clayton and he said he would send me another one.

Anyway, there was a mixup and I never got it. I sent a few e-mails and finally bought a new one from Rob at Rob's Pro Shop. I just kind of gave up - it's was only $25.

This was several months ago - anyway, yesterday I received a refund and note of apology. Clayton realized he had overlooked this and sent me a refund.

When they say "it's the thought that counts" - they weren't kidding. It is the thought that counts.

I believe that your logic is faulty. I think the flaw is called recency error...you are overly influenced by the most recent occurance. So much, in fact, that you have forgotten that it was Mr. Doodles' shortcoming(s) that provided the opportunity to impress you.

Sorta like when your husband kicks your ass on Sunday, then brings you flowers and apologizes on Monday. Oh, he must really love me so...

A friend had let me know that someone had posted something nice about us on this board. Wanted to say thanks to Chris for posting something positive. In the pool world it is a rare thing to see the people do the right thing. DON'T YOU AGREE PIGI? I bet you post up every set you play. Hard to trust a pool player Huh?

Anyway we did have some production problems with the DVD set and have now resolved the entire problem. Dual layer DVD has solved many of our problems.

Also for the future we have implemented multiple camera angles, better quality, better editing, and a few other nameless tactics to improve the quality of all our DVDs.

The first taste of our improvements will come available mid-March. After the long awaited match between Archer & Efren Reyes. The match will be done with multiple cameras including overhead and pocket cameras. Also this match will be commentated by Archer himself. I would love to get inside of Johnny's head and hear his thoughts as this match plays out.... Wouldn't You?

If anyone would like to come to the match feel free to email me or call 912-369-2211. We do have seats available for the live match. Prices ranging from $35.00-$55.00 Not sure on the stakes of the match yet but I am sure

Glad to hear you have resolved your issues, Clay. I posted what I did because you also 'did me right'. Right after not mailing my dvd for 3+ months...and not letting me know there would be a delay...and not responding to my inquiries.

I assume you had MANY orders to fill, so it looks like your customer service/ order processing could use some refinement...

Like Tate, you did me right. Nice event, quality players. Not perfect, but I don't think I could've put a better product out there. Looking fwd to seeing The Scorpion take out The Magician!

I think we are going to get good service from now on and appreciate the update.

I fully expected someone to respond as Piglet did. I don't blame Pigli one bit for getting a little bent - I was bent too! Pigi, the important thing is Clayton came forward to me to settle up and make good, and he did so entirely on his own.

Now that Clay has promised us better products, I think he will also have better service too.

Clay, your heart is in the right place and I appreciate it. So boys, let's go forward with a new and clean attitude. If you get some more great matches like that, I'm in, that's for sure.
