While googling I found this article on Johnny and Earl's pool school. It's a good read.

After reading the fourth paragraph though, I could tell the reporter was just a nit who had already made up his mind about 'professional billiard players'.

He tries to make it sound like shelling out $200 for a 4 hour lesson with JA and ES was a rippoff......ya right......more like deal of the century.

Anyways it's still a fun read.

enjoy :)

It's unfortunate that folks on the outside of the game only see the so-called "bad side" of the sport.

There may already be some litigation going on regarding this article. Much of the report is fabricated. There was some discussion about it awhile back.

this guys a douche. He probably REALLY sux at pool and didnt like archer and strickland pointing it out to him. And if johnny dont like big girls then thats his choice. Neither do I. This is why our sport never grows. Because no talent hacks write crap like this and the public thinks this is what we're all about

Well... I'll just say that I too went to the class when it was held in here in Dallas. Not necessarily looking to "improve" my game in 4 hours. More for the chance to "hang out" with two of the finest players ever to pick up a cue. The stuff that was said about Strickland is not too hard to believe ( witnessed a little of this when he was working with another person in my group) But the stuff about Johnny seems TOTALLY OUT OF CHARACTER! I know I wasn't there but that really does not sound like something he would say in front of complete strangers... IMO
