Archer/Stricland & the Legends & Champions Tour coming to Texas

Hmmm.... Wonder what Earl Strickland's ideas on how to fix pool are...

I know many can talk about how he's not quite all there. But, I couldn't see any harm in listening to what he has to say. Especially considering his level of past success and his longevity as well. Once you hear what his fixes are, it shouldn't be too difficult to discern if there's any value to his comments.

If you keep doing the same thing, then you should get pretty much the same result. And if you want better results, then you gotta look at what it takes to make it better and upgrade it.

I know it's not an easy endeavor. But, better to try and fail, than to not try at all. The exploration can be worthwhile...

As has been mentioned many times, it really didn't take much to move poker from relative obscurity to major success. Can hardly see a day now, where there isn't a poker match on TV.

They came through Medford, Oregon and played some challenge games, signed autographs, posed for pictures. Mark and Johnny were very personable and as nice and professional as could be. Earl did some trick shots, I challenge anyone to shoot those wing shots like Earl! It is incredible to watch.

Problem is Earl continues to be a jerk and constantly puts down the sport that has allowed and still allows him to make a living. I have seen 3 exhibitions by Earl now over the years and each time he rants on and on about how screwed up pool is and how he is the only one who knows how to fix it. It gets old quick Earl. You owe more to this great sport.
Thank you for your kind words, I can understand your opinion also. However, like Flickit said this guy knows alot of stuff and may actually have the answer but don't want to hear it. There are lots of people in history that people thought crazy until they discovered something great. Again I understand what you are saying but if we changed his thought process it just would not be Earl anymore. By the way we all enjoyed Medford and if the chance comes again we would like to come back.
