Well we are about 2 weeks away from the start of the East Coast leg of the Legends and Champions Pool Tour. The response so far has been great, it seems that most of the time the pool school students don't register until the last week before the tour starts. This time we have every school almost filled already and thats alot faster than usual. We have 2 to 3 spots left in each class at this point, so if you have any interest in participating or you know someone who might be interested please have them contact me.

This leg of the tour will be a little different than usual, Earl Strickland is working in Japan for most of March and so I have had to find another Legend and Champion to join Johnny (The Scorpion) Archer. The answer was easy, 8 time World Champion, the only player to win back to back US Open titles, Has won a World title in almost every discipline including Straight Pool, 1 Pocket, Banks, 8-Ball and 9-ball, He is a member of the Hall of Fame (The Kentucky Colonel), Nick Varner. We are very happy and excited to have Nick join us on our travels and believe he will be a great addition to The Legends and Champions Pool Tour. Nick Varner is well known for his teaching ability and his ability to make exhibitions a fun experience for all spectators, so with his credentials and experience along with Johnny Archer's credentials and talents this leg of the tour will be a treat for all pool and billiards enthusiasts.

The Pool Schools will keep the same pricing and format. 12 Students max per class in 2 groups of 6 and each group will spend 2 hours with Johnny Archer and 2 hours with Nick Varner. The fee for the amazing opportunity is only $200.00 per person.

Each stop will be hosting an exhibition with both Archer and Varner that will include trick shots, stroke shots stories, a mini challenge match between Archer and a local House Pro, local Champion or maybe Archer Vs Varner. There will also be opportunities for spectators to play on either team Archer or Team Varner in a rack of scotch doubles (8 drawings). Obviously at the end of the night Johnny and Nick will be available to sign cues & memorabilia and take pictures with the spectators.

Below is the schedule for March, if you would like to sign up for a pool school or simply have questions please feel free to contact Mark Cantrill at cantrillmark@yahoo.com or by phone at 480-612-7732.

I'm jealous.
Any plans for a SouthEast tour in the future (South Florida, specifically)?

Do you pay at the event or, if not, how do we pay? I may have another guy to come with me on March 10.

Metalcane, right now I am asking for just names and cell#'s and that the students give me their word to be there with the $200.00 cash.
This may change if we begin the turn people away due to bing full. I will have to get a deposit some how to the pool room to secure the spot. If your friend want s in I think they should call me and be on the list of students. I can say for sure that if they just shoe up with you that there will be a spot. You have my info have them call me, and thanks for getting the word out,
Mark,

I totally agree with you. I have had a number of emails and calls asking about this. YOU ARE RIGHT! this would be awesome for all concerned. The problem that we have and that I keep going back to is that nobody there students or teachers know where they will be lets say at 9.30 pm on lets also say Friday the 22nd.
So although all the people are there nobody can commit to a certain time for even 2 hours let alone 4 hours. I tell everyone one who askes this same question if you have any ideas on how we can make it work and we follow through with them you will get a couple of free lessons from Johnny and Nick. Please let me know, again you are right that would be a greatthing for everyone.

Earl is in Japan doing some exhibitions and won't be back in time. So we enlisted Nick.

Since I didn't see an answer - any plans for doing the SE tour (Jacksonville/Orlando specifically)?

Yes we would like to in the near future. I did try to put a little smething together at one time but I didn't get much positive response.
I thin kthat Fla gets its fair share of top pros in the area with the seminole tour and room owners ee no reason to pay for a exhibition when they have top talent around all the time. I know it is not Johnny Archer or Earl or Nick but thats just the feedback I got from the rooms I contacted. It was short notice the last time I looked at it and so maybe after out April trip to California and the North West we can try again there. We would really like to come to Fla. I am going to try again once I get the West Coast set up and so hopefully that will be enough time to make it happen, Thank you for your interest.

T-Wheels,

I saw a post of yours a week or so back about having shirts made for this leg of the tour. If you do have them made, are you going to make them available here on AZ, or just at the tour stops?

Ragbug, The last three legs of the tour we have had the shirts and sold out. We do have some for this leg also that will be available at the exhibitions. If we have some left this time I will let you know but I won't have many. I think people like the shirts because it has the players image and name on there and they can get the shirt signed by theose players. I did'nt really think about selling them on here. Thank you for the interest though and pm me at the end of the month if you would like one.

Any Chance of coming through PA? Harrisburg Area?
Well CrakkaJakka, I just looked it up and there seems to be 2 Harrisburg's in Pa. I picked one and it was 1 1/2hrs from Baltimore. So I guess that is as close as we are going to get. Depending what you are looking for we may be able to do something on Wed the 11th. But there would have to be a few people wanting to sign up for lessons and or a exhibition ya know? Let me know. Thanks,
