Nonsense. This is about tariffs and pool cues. Nothing wrong with a discussion. NPR is for non-pool related topics. There's enough muck in there already.Take this "garbage" outside.
I am complaining about the muck, as are others -- not "what you say" but "how you say it". Different standards exist for different places, at least in my mind. Note my word choice.Nonsense. Unless it becomes egregious, if I banned everyone who used occasionally questionable phrases, this place would be empty, and I would have a personal life.I am complaining about the muck, as are others -- not "what you say" but "how you say it". Different standards exist for different places, at least in my mind. Note my word choice.
I am curious where his watch was made.As usual, more ignorance from this renamed and probably previously banned tool.
He fails to mention which USA built cue brand can satisfy current demand?
This thread doesn't really seem that bad. Just folks wondering about tariffs and pool cues. Carry on.I am complaining about the muck, as are others -- not "what you say" but "how you say it". Different standards exist for different places, at least in my mind. Note my word choice.
I do not recall this level of protest, particularly from the persons objecting, but maybe I am wrong. Let me go back and see. This thread doesn't really seem that bad. Just folks wondering about tariffs and pool cues. Carry on.

Cool. Thanks for answering. This maybe refers to the the maker ? https://barnyardworld.com/product/begging-dog-3d-watch-by-whimsical-gifts-fun-functional/Suwanee, Georgia.
Handmade by a guy and his wife. All hand painted. They even got the 8b positioned correctly. I wish the chalk was green like my V10 though.
I'm not into micky mouse watches but had to get this one.
Normally I don't care for this junk but this is as gimmicky as I will get. LOLCool. Thanks for answering. This maybe refers to the the maker ? https://barnyardworld.com/product/begging-dog-3d-watch-by-whimsical-gifts-fun-functional/
You can get billiard watches for about $45 made in China. Of course I recall having a $25 'Rolex' with a second hand that would occasionally move backwards, but that's another story. Likely the Japanese movements of today are much better.

I hear ya. Thanks again.Normally I don't care for this junk but this is as gimmicky as I will get. LOL
It's still junk and probably shouldn't have bought it. I'm a minimalist.
I’m buying from Canada and Greenland.buy American for sure!
Actually, going from $312 to $387 is a 24% increase, which seems pretty substantial to me.Thanks for the info. That does not look too bad. My math sucks, but looks like maybe a 15% increase.
Which cues are the best is completely subjective, so any time anyone uses the term "known fact" that's generally not true.Doesn't affect me. I buy American and already having something being built.
Perhaps the moral of this whole entire tariff thing is for you guys to stop buying those rebranded Chinese cues and perhaps support the domestic cue makers. Word has it the cue builders here are the best in the world. It's actually a known fact.
Plenty of nice stuff on the used market too even though I suggest buying from the cue builder. Lets say because of the tariffs you are force to buy an American cue then its not bad at all.
Then some of you guys can appreciate what Made in USA is all about when you see these cues.
Joss and Pechauer are also made in the USA. Pechauer in particular bought their own timberland, harvests their own trees, processes the lumber in their own sawmill, and makes all metal parts in their own machine shop. How are you going to beat that?I'm not really familiar with production cues except for Mezz because it's my daily player and I don't care for Predator. I was in the market for a break cue and someone actually convinced me to get a Chinese made carbon or wherever they are from. A break cue is something I can live without.
Are there any actual American brand production cues actually made in the USA?
I'm assuming McDermott, Schon, Viking, Meucci, and Jacoby. Which are all great shooters.
