Are there any days that are better to go to the DCC?

Hi, I'm thinking about trying to get down to the DCC this year but I can only afford to go for a few days not the whole Nine, I don't want to compete in any events, Just like to take in the experiance, Is there any days that are better to be there like opening weekend midweek, Closing weekend? Thanks ahead for the advice? One other thing is there other Hotels in the area If I decide to go and the Hoesehoe casino is full? Thanks, TODD

The nearest other hotels are about 5-7 miles away in New Albany.

Which games would you like to see? If you come Wed-Thu-Fri you will get to see the finals of the one pocket and the start of the nine ball.
