Are these Gold Crown Tables? Pics

The set of rails which has the nameplate covered in plastic is definitely from a Gold Crown I. Brunswick did the nameplate like that until they realized that they damaged easily, then they went to the all metal nameplate. If the receptacle for the rail bolts on the bottom side of the rails has a figure 8 shape,it should be a GC I,not a II, I believe. Either one are wayyyy better constructed than the GC III.

Those are some good tips, thanks...

Seems like many people aren't fond of the GC III's.
Is it because Brunswick got cheap and tried to cut corners to save on cost?
I can understand that maybe something older was more heavy duty.

I remember seeing in another thread that most GC I's, not all of them didn't have adjustable legs. All three of these tables did have adjustable legs. But it doesn't mean they couldn't be GC I's. I never saw a label saying what kind of table it was. Are those labels on the subframe?

I don't think any GCIs had adjustable legs.
FWIW - GCII and III are the worst adjustable legs ever

The plastic nameplate - and even more certainly the figure 8
rail bolt nut plates means the RAILS are GCIs -
that doesn't mean the entire table is. Also chrome feet
are def GCI or II.

Back in the 70s and 80, many GCIs and IIs were stripped and stained
to look like a GCIII . As for the tacky looking white plastic extensions
for the aprons, I always threw them away.
