Are Tournaments Using Micro Fiber Cloths?

I was wondering if a lot of tournaments are using micro fiber cloths that work with static electricity to clean the cloth? Could the micro cloths be transferring static electricity to the cloth causing the balls to be picking up more chalk dust than if you used a regular untreated cloth? Johnnyt

I believe some tournaments use antistatic cloths in conjunction with table cleaning spray products, primarily Quick-Clean. This is designed to work by lifted the dirt from the cloth into the foam and statically charge it. Then when you wipe it with an anti-static cloth it sticks to the cleaning cloth instead of the table. David Hodges, who developed it, used to post here, not sure if he still hangs around. I use this regularly on my home table and highly recommend it.
 
What I mean is them just using the cloth on the table cloth w/o any foam. Johnnyt
