If I were content I think I would quit and take up something else.
+1
I am a better Golfer than I am a pool player...but I never Golf anymore...I hit my peak, shot some consistent scores under par...and decided I was not going to get any better at 40+ years old.
Now my clubs only get dusted off (about once or twice a year) when I am asked to play in some 4 man scramble.
Basically I was content that I had maxed out my own personal ability when it came to Golf......I have not accepted that yet for pool.
Interesting though....When I played Golf...I hardly ever played pool....when I quit Golf is when I started getting serious about playing pool......
I am not sure if I am in love with Pool...or in love with competition....Pool just happens to be the only thing I have left where I still have a chance to be competitive.
So the real question is (at least for me)....Are you content (with your competitiveness or competitive nature)
