I'm going to check it out. Should be a great tournament , I heard it was filling up fast.
How many spots do you know? I don't know if Friday is the deadline.
I saw Tyler this weekend and he said Dave is only accepting 64 entries. Anymore would probably take forever. I didn't count the tables when i was there but i think there is like maybe 7 or 8 diamonds , so keeping it at 64 is reasonable.
Yeah its being played on 7 diamond boxes. Theres still about 20 spots left, but no doubt they will go quick. Friday is the deadline, calcutta friday evening. Tourney starts at 9 or 10am sat. Should be a good one!
I actually booked some holiday time that coincided with the tournament thinking that I may slide down there and play but then I found some fantastic deals on vacations to Mexico. The lure of sun, ocean and an all-inclusive resort was far too much to pass up...
I would take a vacation over a pool tournament anyday. Most people go to vegas to combine the two. When really if your playing pool the whole time its not like a vacation at all.

Exactly my thoughts, I need to rely on the locals like you to go snap it off while I take care of some coronas in the mayan riviera. I'm pretty sure that most of my team will be there and at least a couple of them should be very capable of taking the cash.
Robbie said there is around 48 entries , but i think it should fill up by friday. I didn't know what the field looked like in medicine hat but this tournament seems to be pretty heavy in talent. I am still pretty disappointed that deadmonton is now the only place with over 100+ pool players without diamond bar tables. If it were possible i would replace all the valley tables in the world with the diamond bar tables.
Here's hoping that you win multiple lotteries to support your quest for billiard philanthropy, you have my support in this endevor.
Or we could just hold all the tournaments in Scott's basement where the diamond pro 9' is hiding. ;-)
Yeah i heard Scott has a diamond now. I haven't talk to him in a while, is he going to dave's tournament? I have never played on a 9' diamond must be great.
It's a dynamite table, plays fantastic. I'm not sure if he's going or not but I would assume that he is. I'm pretty sure that both Brian and Rob are going as well, Carlos is gone to Portugal right away so I'm not sure about him. I would expect a pretty strong field if all the Calgary crew come out of the woodwork, especially since they have so many box specialists.

Thanks Todd , I was getting tired of splitting and taking second place. Was a damn tough tournament , but the tables were ok. Most people there didn't like them but they were fine. Dave wants to hold a 9ball or 10 ball but he's worried people won't show up for those tournaments. He was pretty upset too that people dropped out on friday. There ended up being 56 players. I am pretty sure he still added the 2k, so good on dave i'm glad he is starting to create some stuff for pool players.
