Are you going to Valley Forge?

Cueman,

The host hotel (Radisson I think) is great. I stayed there two years back and it was worth it since I was in the TAP tourney. But many cuemakers were there as well. Other hotels might be close by, but if you want the conveince of having a room without having to step outside than there is no better hotel. Plus I am sure you will have to be up early to set up and late to close up.

See you there... It is a great event

I will be there and this will be my fifth year. The first year my wife and I attended, we stayed at one of the hotels near by. It was a very nice hotel and I have heard that some of the others are very nice too. It is a good alternative, if you can not get a room at the host hotel.

Since our first year, we have stayed at the Radisson. :D

I highly recommend staying at the complex that makes up the convention center. The parking lot fills up very early and it gets to be a real pain, finding a parking place every morning.

Actually, there are two hotels hooked together at the convention center. There is the Radisson Inn and the Scanticon Hotel. Although the Scanticon is not listed on the Expo web site as one of the hotels, I believe Hopkins reserves a block of rooms in that hotel for exibitors. The elevator for the Scanticon will let you out very near to the entrance for the Expo. in the convention center. Although completely inside, it is a little bit of a walk, from the Radisson.
Between the two hotels, there are several restaurants, although they are not cheap. There are also a number of fast food vendors on the lower level of the Expo, if you would prefer something quick.

Good luck and I hope to see you there.

This will be my 3rd year to attend and first year to play. I plan to stay at the Radison as well due to the convienance of being right there. You can take a short break right to your room if needed without the hassles of finding parking if you were to travel off site. I would recommend booking now as it is sure to fill up quickly. The tournament and expo get bigger and better every year. I sure hope Hopkins continues to provide such an excellent event. Best of luck and I will be sure to visit your booth as I am anxious to meet you in person.

I've been to all of the previous Super Billiards Expo's and again my plans are already made for the upcoming one in March 2005. I would highly recommend staying at the host hotel if for no other reason than the convenience alone. Like others have pointed out the parking becomes a real pain, but mostly it is just so much easier to stay there, you don't have to carry any of your personal belongings around with you all day, you can go to your room and relax for awhile if need be, you can sleep alittle longer because you won't have any travel time (not that I get much sleep when I'm there anyway, to much going on).
Hope to see you there!
Jim

I appreciate all the good advice and look forward to seeing you all there. I will be in booths 93 and 94. Below are the booths our International Cuemakers Association members will be in:

92 Greg's Kues

93 Cue Man Billiard Products

94 Hightower Custom Cues

95 Cameron Cues

96 PFD Studios

98 Sticks By Six

99 Sticks By Six

102 CB Custom Cues

103 South East Cues

104 Star City Cues

109 Bell Forest Products

CB Custom Cues and South East Cues will have a pool table in between their two booths to let people hit balls with their cues. Sticks by Six will have cues from many well know cuemakers as well as many production cues. I hope to take a couple of dozen cues and a few Cue Machines for display and sale.

Just curious who all is going to Valley Forge Super Expo in March? This will be my first time to set up there and my first time to visit period. Does everyone think the host hotel is the way to go? Or go down the street if driving like I will be?

Hi Cris; I am also going the Valley Forge, for the 1st time. I'll be helping out in the "BILLIARDS WORKBOOK" booth, with Dr. Diana Sorentino. I'll also have a bunch of my BLACK HEART cues for sale. You'll be able to try out my some of my cues, because she has a table in her booth. Hope to see you all there...JER
