Can anyone give me any background on him as a cuemaker, is he well known? Are his cues considered high quality?

The reason I ask this is because I have seen this beautiful cue in the link below & I was wondering if I should take the plunge or go with another maker, any help is appreciated.

He makes some beautiful, awesome hitting cues...I own one.....but from problems other people have had, I'm not sure I would buy another.
