Arnot's "Terminator" shafts

Does anyone here have an Arnot custom cue with a "terminator" shaft? (Or you bought such a shaft for some other cue?) I like my Predator 314-1 a lot, but I don't like my "Frankencue" combination of old Viking butt with that shaft. I don't like the balance at all--almost every two-piece cue anybody lets me shoot with has balance I like better than my cue. If Arnot's shafts are as low-deflection as a Predator, or even reasonably close, I'll be very tempted to get one of his inexpensive "starter" cues.

Has anyone made careful comparisons between his shafts and the Predator? (Or the OB-1, which I've also tried?)

Thanks...

I tried one before and it didn't feel particular low deflection at all.

i had one of his jump break cues. i like it pretty well. it had a a t3 shaft but i think it was just for breaking. the taper was really thick and and heavy. lot of glue showed with the laminated pieces.

I have owned a total of 3 T3 shafts - 2 with the regular taper and one with the break taper.

The T3 is a very dense and stiff shaft even with the regular taper - much stiffer than both the first and second generation 314s. They deliver a hard and very solid hit. The shafts also usually weigh a good 4.2 oz and above, so using one is going to shift the balance a little forward on your cue. Mine weighed around 4.5 oz.

Deflection is higher than a 314 - I also found it harder to get action on the cueball with the T3 (Mine had Moori medium tips). Good accuracy and stability on centre ball hits though.
