Thanks... And the beauty is not the only quality of this cue! The hit is incredible... I play with an arthur player cue! Marcus is a very nice cue maker

Very nice cue, but....

Cue looks great, but I am sure quite a few people do not want to risk five grand on a possibility of the cue getting to them here in the US. A lot of money to put on a gamble.
Might want to list this in the ACTION ROOM here on AZB:thumbup:

If cue is confiscated, will you return the money to the purchasing party?

Or will you accept payment only after the cue arrives in one piece to the buyer?

Good luck on your sale - it is a very beautiful cue and certainly worth the $$$!!!!

I have to totally agree here ... I am reluctant to have a cue with ivory even shipped from Canada to USA .. nevermind from Europe to USA. Personally, I wouldn't risk buying this cue unless it was some sort of escrow deal with the escrow dealer located in USA. I've heard too many stories of some guy at customs deciding the cue has ivory and keeping it for himself, heh. Only way I'd risk buying this AWESOME cue is if it had some type of guarantee of getting across borders.

No doubt, this cue is totally sweet, I'm not trying to take away from the sale or the integrity of this cue... I'm just expressing my own personal opinions regarding ivory inlaid cues being shipped into the US. I'm sure there are 100's of instances where the cue goes across customs with no problem, but as was mentioned before, I wouldn't want to gamble $5k to buy the cue and hope it gets across the border.

the risk is always there. When a cuemaker build a cue for a client in another continent sends you think?

I'll tell you how to do: declaring an object's value sent around 300 USD and does not secure the parcel. This is the only way to send cues with ivory.

I say this because when I decided to sell the cue I asked a cuemaker like to do in these situations and I said that.

When you order the cue outside the United States the situation is the same.

Can be done.

PS: thanks for the compliments on cue.
