I'm not sure if this is a repost, but thanks to Google News, I caught this article about cuemaker Dan Dishaw:

I find it encouraging to read articles about cuemakers, players, and billiards-related news in local media outlets: think globally, play locally.
If you're not already using Google News or a similar site to follow articles on billiards, snooker, 10-ball, etc., you can do the following:
1. Go to the Google News page: http://news.google.com/
2. At the top of the page, enter a search term such as "billiards"
3. Click the Search News button. A new search results page will appear.
3. In the search results page, click the button with the caption "Follow billiard news"
This will pull in articles from across the world. For example, if you follow the term "snooker," Google News will pull articles from the UK, India, and southeast Asia. Once you create this custom section, it will appear each time you load the Google News page.
Using the search term "pool" in Google News won't yield the best results unless you're equally interested in reading the latest news about swimming pools. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
