Asbestos Warning: Non Slate Table Risks

All this talk about fake slate reminded me of something important...
Some of the older honeycomb and fake slate tables are down right hazardous to work on.
Please see the attached article...

It might be wise to verify whether or not Brunstone is also made with asbestos.

good post I don't think I would have put the 2 together, unless I was cutting into one but it would have been to late to know in the long run.

I know I've run into a few of these in the past - it just never dawned on me that asbestos was even an option...

I doubt there is much of a risk from simply owning one...but I wouldnt want to go sanding or grinding on one..
