Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports ramps up threats

Its rule related. What happens if an organizer or player is violating the acceptable cloth colors for WPA competition?
When something is not acceptable, what rule or policy can be enforced?

Good lord, do you EVER just post an on-topic, relevant response? Every time you are the most recent response on a thread I am interested in, I go to the thread hoping you might have something truly relevant to say, and am consistently disappointed.

The Saudis pumped a ton of money into a rival professional golf tour. There was different formatting, but the key thing that enticed other pga pros was I believe a bigger share of money and I think guaranteed money or something. The PGA tour tried to ban players, I think sue, and ultimately the two merged and dropped the court cases.
The lawsuits went both ways. The Saudi's got sued for poaching players and when the judge told them they had to open the PIF funds playbook they about shit. They've never had to reveal this ever. They wanted to settle more than the PGA did. End of the day the PGATour came out big winners. Hopefully the LIV will go away and just be one tour again. At least that colossal tool Norman is out of the picture.

Vietnam is becoming a big manufacturing partner to the USA. Similar labor prices as China, but politically an ally to the USA. A lot of the tech companies are opening up factories there to lessen the reliance on China, incase sh!t hits the fan.

what's wrong with these people? vietnam never had a big time pool event and now when they're getting one these idiots want to quash it
If matchroom were to give up and pull out of pool, we wouldn’t see another well funded organization take a crack at pool for at least 50-70 years. It sounds alarmist, but this whole thing will serve as a warning that the establishment will fight them every step of the way unless they conform to the status quo (which w doesn’t work).

Ah, I knew there were lawsuits and counter suits but wasn’t sure the basis of those lawsuits. I feel like the ACBS doesn’t have a leg to stand on with their legal threats against the players, but of course I know nothing about the local law or what they’ve signed.

Anyhow, there was a podcast with Norman where he tried to make the case for LIV but it was hard for me to feel sorry for millionaire golfers who can make even just hundreds of thousands for a mediocre season.

Is Norman Greg Norman, or another one?

Nonsense like these threats has to be a breach of their own constitution if indeed they are formed to promote cuesports because carrying on like this is not only damaging the players but its making a fool of everyone in the sport.

I’m rooting for Gorst and Yapp in the US Open, two players who faced WPA bans for stupid reasons outside their control. Yapp I think is still banned from WPA events in perpetuity due to the ACBS stuff?

Some great golf resorts too. A buddy played one south of DaNang. super nice beach, course, food, etc. He loved it.

Carlo Biado has withdrawn from the Hanoi Open due to this ACBS letter.

He's playing an action Back Pocket 9 ball match live now, and his wife (I think she's his wife) on the mic just announced it.
