hi guys,,

my first post in the forum,,
read few reviews about both cue,,,but seems doesn't answer my question since they all positive comment about both cue maker.

i'm up on the market for custom cue, but not very high end. i'm whiling to spend maximum $800 bugs, so come up with both cue. i live in sydney Australia currently hitting with mezz sneaky pete united joint WD700 shaft, never hit jacoby or pechauer.

i'm up for sign pechauer cue and jacoby that came with 2 shaft that can find on ebay.

i hit my friend schon with mezz hybrid pro shaft and original schon shaft.
but didn't quiet like it..

but i try southwest cue,, wood to wood joint feels great and don't have heart attack when i'm hitting it.

expecting good balance cue and hit similar to south west, what do u guys thinking or maybe other option that close to my budget..

cheers,,
comment will be highly appreciate..
DHANI..

I own both Pechaur and Jacoby cues (among several others) and I love them both. They both are solid hitters and I couldn't ask for better cues.

Pechauer or Jacoby. Probably not a lot of differance. Pick the one you like the looks of. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.
Let us know which one you got ,like a pic or a link to the exact cue.

Doubt you will like pechauers hit at all, hard harsh hit. If you already have

a mezz I would just stay with it.

Just gos to show you we all feel hits different.I would describe the Pechauer hit as rather soft. But the kind of tip on it can change a cue a lot.

i actually go to vegas,,few weeks back attend 5 man team 8 ball competition on 7 foot table,,they have few shop sell pechauer,,but for some reason they didnt let me try the cue...so end up just cleaning ip the cue

I have a Jacoby with a wood to wood Radial pin joint.
Love the hit. David Jacoby makes an excellent cue.
Would be hard to beat for the $. JMHO.

pechauer joint?

For those of you that like the pechauer. Everything I've read about them recommends the pro joint. Is the lesser JP flat faced joint junk? or just not as good?

Pechauer joint..both are great

I prefer the Pechauer pro. I have the P-10 and my wife has the P-08 (both with emerald tips) nice ques. They hit firm and workmanship is fantastic. I live in Wisconsin and actually picked these up and toured the manufacturing plant.

The Pechauer's take great pride in workmanship/quality standards. They stand behind their product. I tried a 314 shaft and the rock maple and truthfully not much difference. I know the hype of the low deflection etc...but that's why it is hype.

The JP joint (face to face) is good ....my preference is the piloted pro joint. Don't skimp...you will have your cue for a long time. Go for the gusto and get a nice stick J. Pechauer Pro series is nice.
