ASKA shafts?

Has anyone had experience with ASKA shafts? I see them on Ebay and when bought in quantities of 10 they are pretty reasonably priced, but what is there quality like?

Reason I ask is I had a buddy drop off several very old one piece house cues which had very warped shafts but the butt sections (full splice) are good to decent and I'm looking to get some decent and affordably priced shafts to be able to make some nice 2/3-piece cues, mainly break or jump/break cues out of them.

The gentleman from Aska cue is located in Canada, he products are imports fron China, I sure that some are good and some will be bad.
 
I bought one to make up a beater cue from an unknown 3/8-10 butt I had in stock. Taper was kinda long, hit was soft but price was right. Inside of a year it warped something fierce. Sat on the same rack in the same room as my "good" cues. Never again. I've bought some used shafts from AZ'ers that have served me well, so that's my preferred route if I ever need another. When it comes to shafts, I'll take old over new anytime. BTW, I have a shaft from a bunjee jump cue listed in the F/S section if you can use it.
