I thought it would be great to have a thread that has all of the AZ cuemaker's general information.
Maybe even a sticky with the name changed to "Cuemaker's yellow pages or some such"

If you would be willing to share your information with us, it would be appreciated. I know that a lot, (but not all) of this info is in the Blue Book but it would be nice to have it online, In one place. Besides not all of you are in the Blue Book.
If possible, I'd like to have this be one post per cuemaker (you can edit of course). With no other discussion. If you want to comment to a cuemaker please do so with a PM. Thanks!

Cuemaker's yellow pages.

I'd like to see your:
--State of origin
--HOT-- Link to a website Please post it in the ad as those of us that turn off avatars and/or signature lines to increase the speed of downloading or for whatever reason, do not see it there.

--Contact info and if you would be willing to spend a bit of time, your personal preferences when it comes to cues. What you like to make, style, soft, medium, hard hit, etc.... as you see fit. Maybe a few pictures of your best work.

I know you can do searches but to have it all nice and neat would be, well neat----Websters' definition meaning "marked by tasteful simplicity"

AGAIN IF YOU WANT TO ADD INFO TO YOUR "AD" PLEASE DO SO USING THE "EDIT" FUNCTION TO MAKE THINGS EASIER TO FOLLOW. At least in this one thread. It won't be in alphabetical order but it would put all the basic info in one place and can be updated as contact information changes.

May God bless you all for the enjoyment and beauty you bring to us with your functional art!

My new home as of today!!!
I build cues for playabilty 1st! Looks are a secondary!
I use the radial joint pin and prefer the sleeved Ivory joint. So I still get the forward balance with the Ivory hit. I build all of my cues myself except steel components and bumpers brass parts, ferulles and tips! I dont build my own full spice blanks I order them in. I also do all of my inlays on a Gorton 3u Inlay machine! I build all of my cues myself! No helpers!!

Stop by and check out my new home! One of the best pool rooms in the country!

Thanks

In a few weeks this thread will be buried & no one will be able to find it. So what good will it do to post our info?...JER

That's why I said, "Maybe even a sticky with the name changed to Cuemaker's yellow pages or some such". This post isn't about me, the Mod. can even erase my post and make it more official, with his own criteria, (I'm a bit wordy sometimes).

I don't care how it's done but it would be helpful. Since there is only one post so far, it would be easy for him/her or Patrickcues to cut and paste it to the Mod's new thread.

I don't know who to contact to request this however. If you do, could you suggest it. I had no intentions of simply wasting your time and I take no offense at your post, it a good question.

In the "ask a mechanic" section it's called the "Pool Table Mechanic Directory" and is a Sticky. Dartman who startd the thread over there, had this for his original post.

"Seems theres always someone looking for a mechanic and after looking back thru this category I haven't found any sort of geographic listing. Maybe we can get one going here.
Keep it simple - put your service area in the title of your reply and list your name and contact info (phone, email or website) and a short description of services you offer. "

In a later post he writes
"Don't be shy folks - customers in your area are looking for someone to do table work. Advertising doesn't get any cheaper then this - Get your name and contact info posted! "

I was just referred to Mr. Wilson, so I have asked him to consider a sticky at the top of this Forum. Hope he chooses to do so.
