Asking for CNC recommendations

asking for suggestions. I have no experience with CNC’s. I have over 20 years experience as an IT systems engineer so I’m not overly concerned with figuring out the computer side of things. I currently have a couple midsize lathes, one setup for dedicated tapering. I also have the cue smith inlay machine. I’m considering making the jump to CNC. The ability to taper with this machine would be a plus. What would you suggest for a CNC machine to get started?

You wan't a machine just for tapering or do you want a bed style cnc so you can mount a shaft spinner and a rotational axis on it?
