MACAU Billionaire gambling tycoon Stanley Ho has announced a partnership
with the US based International Pool Tour to promote professional billiards throughout the globe.

The deal rumoured to be worth in excess of five thousand US dollars was completed earlier today with US media mogul Kevin Trudeau.

Said Kevin Trudeau, "I sunk almost seven hundred dollars into this company just over a year ago and now it is at the forefront of world sport".

Although Mr. Ho was unavailable for comment, his company has indicated
that they will fund the IPT for a minimum of five years and commit no less than one hundred dollars a month to the tour.

It has also been reported that due to the nature of this deal, Mr. Trudeau will no longer be forced to renegotiate the lease on his Honda Civic.

Seven Hundred????

What I would like to know ...

is a long time ago, besides Natural Cures, it was mentioned that KT owned the Golf channel in Europe. Is this true or not? It has not been mentioned for a long time now.

If any of his companies are public, you should be able to find a financial report for such.

In addition, ANYONE can put out a PR. It means nothing, it's just a means of communication. It in no sense, means it is the truth.

AP is most often on the recieving end of Press Releases. If they originate a PR it would most likely pertain to their business of running a news wire service.

Dave, not a moron

DaveK...<<AP is most often on the recieving end of Press Releases. If they originate a PR it would most likely pertain to their business of running a news wire service.>>

For the record Dave, that is simply not correct. The Associated Press is NOT a "public relations" firm. It is a NEWS AGENCY with 242 total bureaus worldwide and 3,700 AP editorial, communications and administrative employees worldwide.

You can't just issue a Press Release to the AP and expect them to carry it on their wires. They review every bit of PR they receive and only put it on the wire when they have an informed opinion as to the credibility of the source.

You are correct though that like all other news gathering companies, they don't guarantee the accuracy of the news they carry. People and companies lie to the press all the time.
Regards,
Jim

I'm confused, is this a joke?

So, once again, all we have to go by is Trudeau's side of the story. Ho was "unavailable for comment".....meaning this is more B.S. Trudeau is just getting his name in papers, articles, magazines, etc....to sell himself. Thats all this is.....a publicity stunt. The "seven hundred dollar" investment is a slap in the face to the sport of pool and the professional players. Funny how he failed to mention in that article that no one has been paid from the last tourney yet!!

lol, are you serious? Look at the amounts in question and then at the last line.

Exactly! Valued at $5000...KT invested $700...Ho commits to $100 a month....KT driving a Honda Civic! This is obviously intended as a JOKE!

I thought it was at first, but then I saw some posts where people were seriously discussing the validity of the associated press. For a moment I was wondering if people had caught on to something I didn't.
