Assess my speed please

Another way to score yourself is to play in non handicap tournaments. If you can't get to round 4 (4th match) on a regular basis then you are not a C player. And that is provided that there are some better players in the tournament.

As far as SL's, they are meaningless until you have played in about 30 or 40 matches.

Or play someone who you believe to be a "C" player for money. If you can beat him then you can call yourself a "C" player. If you can't beat him then you are not a C player. If you are afraid to play him, then you are not a C player. And it doesn't matter if he beats you 5-0 or 5-4 you still lost, and are not a C player. Almost won does not count for anything but to suck you in to play more matches.

Actually, what difference does it make? When you reach the "C" level you will know and you will also know what it will take to be a "B" or "A".

As they say, it is intuitively clear to the most casual observer.

... As for my first comment to you: "MARK SPEED";
well that would put you in the easy picking category of, good enough to have an ego, but not smart enough to know you are being outclassed by a player holding back and draining your pockets.....
I remember the instant that I realized I was in that category. In the middle of a nine ball matchup, I said to myself, "Self, this guy takes the cue ball three cushions and parks it where he wants it when he needs to, and rides the nine when he knows you can't get out. It's time to quit him and learn some pool." I hope I've gotten out of that category.

Oh you should give yourself a break ;) I'm sure you're a C player. A 3C player that is.

:rolleyes:
Thanks for the vote. Think I'll hang on to that.
