Just wanted to give a little review on my recent dealings with AT Caps on some joint protectors. I saw the thread that AZB's "digitalcrack" had started about the company, and after looking at the pictures, I decided to get in touch with them.
I asked about JP's for my Barry and they had them in stock. They actually had quite a few different styles available for Barry's and Gus'. The gentleman that I dealt with is Alton Takata in Hawaii, who is extremely helpful and patient. After driving him nuts about the Barry caps, I decided that the cue I really needed JP's for was this Richard Black that has ivory sharks swimming on the butt. I asked Alton what he might have that would go along with the "Jaws" theme and he immediately sent me several designs to choose from and pricing which was very reasonable. I sent my Paypal payment to Ray Wang (digitalcrack), and Alton had my caps in the mail the next day.
When the caps arrived, I was very happy with the JP's. Shortly afterwards, I got an email from Alton asking how the silver rings matched up on the female cap. He said he was afraid that the ring didn't match perfectly and said he'd just made another one that would match perfectly and would send it to me the next day. He took my word that I'd send the old one back, and I got the new one in three days. It looks like the caps were made for the cue! They even have opposing teeth to give it that Jaws look.
I am absolutely tickled with the service and product I received from AT Caps, and I'm sure I'll be a repeat customer. Thanks guys!
