Some recent inquiries about joint protectors has reminded me to post current stuff of what Alton is working on.

If you are interested in any of these let me know. Alton is currently into the Chinese culture so there may be an Asian theme on some of his caps. The Chinese characters are not permanent. It is done by fine point sharpie and can be scratched off if needed to refinish. He is currently trying out a lacquer finish which takes forever to dry. I may have to convince him to go back to hand rub finish like Varney :P. For more information about AT joint protectors email me at wangr@hawaii.edu . Enjoy!

Sorry for the long wait. He really is a perfectionist.

Alton makes really nice caps. he's making one for me for my 5k and bk2. cant wait till i get them!lolz. if you guys want nice joint caps, contact him...

what are the price ranges, plain to fancy?? id like to get an idea before i talk to him.

30 and up to 100+. It really depends on what you want, how rare the materials, how much work he needs to put into making it. If you are looking for simple caps try Chad McLennan. Chad makes really solid JPs for a solid price. Everything is handcrafted one by one so its not worth it to sell simple caps for cheap. It's just too much time and effort with little reward. If you are looking for really intricate detailed work send me a PM or an email at wangr@hawaii.edu. I'll show az some caps I bought for my friends when they are done drying.
