Knoxville Tennessee is the next stop for a few days to see Tip and Rack master Renfro and get some more one pocket experience against them southern boys. Then on to Oklahoma to reload on cases (still got some on the van for those of you who want to donate gas money in exchange for high quality gear) and then to Olathe to test the waters again in the Midwest Tour's Shooters one hole event. Then we are going to head East to the big show :-)

stop by high pockets in memphis. just a block off i-40. i don't play one pocket but i know a few that do.

i would be interested in seeing what stan taught you as far as cte.

Suppose you and Lou both come into this match with confidence... do you have the skill and knowledge to outperform Lou? From what I have heard I don't think so. Who knows... I could be the ignorant one here. Prove me wrong big guy.

I already wrote what the requirements are Patrick. Prove you wrong? Isn't that the whole point of me going into this match, to prove that I can beat Loucy? Why would I ever take a match of this caliber that I thought I am going to lose?

If you knew who would win you would be trying to bet on Lou but you're not going to bet anything. Just like Lou won't double the bet. No one will know who wins until the dust settles. All I know is that I am playing good and I just had one of the best weeks of my life in pool. I don't have to be anonymous and am having a fantastic time playing and learning from many people along the way.

So you can be a ____________ all you want to and it doesn't matter. In between the times I choose to address you PJ I am out living life in the real world having the type of pool vacation that a lot of people wish they could take.

Well said John Barton, You are getting alot of value out of your action and upsizing your game along the way and spendign time with some of the landed pool gentry. I would say you are having an investment grade experience. Keep up the good work.

On any given day when both are confident they are not so far apart that anyone has the nut ...... Nerves and mood play a bigger part in a single set with this much hype around it

Gerry I feel so stupid that I didn't go all-in from DVD1 and study your videos intensely. After this past week my aiming is supercharged. Now I have to control my arm. Last night I lost two games by dogging the last ball even though I was dead nuts perfectly aimed. There is no system I know of to help with that - maybe a Buddhist chant?

Your videos and Stan's with call-outs is possibly the best online resource for those of us who use CTE to learn the various keys to unlock each shot. I will be referring to them many times in the next few weeks.

And prove you wrong he will. I'll go out on a limb here and say that John's issue in the match -- if an issue comes up -- WON'T be "playing ability." It won't be aiming (that's for sure). Other than flaws in fundamentals (stroke hitches, etc.), it won't be hardware. It will be software (i.e. between the ears), and John quietly knows what that issue will be.

Still, to be able to take a several-month-long "pool vacation" like that must be the experience of a lifetime. I'm jealous!

Well John, I see you have got all the natives stirred up again. This reminds me so much, of you and JoeyA's ENDLESS and boring infomercials, on every new aiming system that came along !..This of course, got 'aiming systems' unceremoniously dumped off the main forum so you guys could (as Mike H. put it) "argue to your hearts content" without trying to impose your beliefs on the general forum population...His intentions were good, but alas, here you are again !

You and CJ have succeeded in getting it back on the main forum, (pretty much at will) by exerting your advertising dollars, to get what you want..That's understandable, AZB functions as a business, and it needs the revenue to thrive and prosper. I find it commendable, that guys like Stan S., Scott Lee, and other's, rely on word of mouth and their web sites, to let people decide if A.S. works for a person, or not. They don't feel the need, to blatantly MONOPOLIZE every single thread you are involved in, with such argumentative, boring, redundancy !

Getting back to 'the big match' I see you cleverly avoided this gentlemen's astute observations...Which is what I mainly base my judgement on ! -----> (post 70, this thread)

You see John, no amount of lessons, or aiming systems, can compensate for your most glaring weaknesses...You just DO NOT have the touch, or the feel, to compete at the game of pool, anywhere near what YOU believe you do !..I hate to put it so bluntly, but BLUNT is all you understand !..You can bluster, and throw your money around, (while you still have any) but, its just a fact you will eventually have to learn to live with !..(probably about March 19th, 2014 :cool:)

PS..Don't forget to accept my call, on the morning of the 18th, when I tell you how much I want to bet !..I have been going without food, cigs, and booze,..and I have saved up several SS, and pension checks to invest ! (better deal than IRA's) :eek:
