Pretty strong list of victims there!

Frank (with my help) cleaned out the toughest action poolroom in L.A. once upon a time, many Moons ago. He beat, among others, Mike Massey, Larry Lisciotti and Eddie "The Hat" Burton to the tune of several thousand K. I took a beating myself the next time I went back in there. But that's another story.

LOL, that man can bank the balls! I got lucky to get to 2, I was up against it. His only weakness was he shot at the moon, so my strategy was to leave him sucker banks from the head rail where he couldn't control the rock. I suckered him in so well he made them all and ran out every time. GG Frank and GL!

I've known Frank Tullos for nearly 25 years. As the owner of Breaktime Billiards in Winston Salem, NC, I hired Frank as a consultant before opening our poolroom outside Boone, NC 23 years ago, and we're still open, so we must have done something right. Over the years we've matched up for some 9-ball sessions in our room and I somehow managed to hold my own, but we haven't played in at least 15 years. We've talked recently over the phone, and we might be getting together to play some again. I've always known Frank's best games were banks and 1-P, so there is absolutely no chance we will play anything other than 9-ball, and I made that very clear to him. I assume Frank's defensive game is off the charts. My best chance will be to get him on our tightest pocket table or on our 10-foot table, which might put him a little out of his comfort zone, but we'll see. I've always thought the older Frank gets, the better chance I might have against him - problem is, at 62, I'm not too far behind him!

Would love to see this match live streamed or recorded and posted to Youtube. Make it happen.

Thanks

Kevin

To be 72 and able to beat Corey Deuel at any cue sport? This 75 year old offers hearty congratulations and a hell of a lot of respect!

Boy does this bring back some memories. I never meet Frank but we were from the same home town, Belleville IL. I only seen him a few times. If you ever run into him ask him if he remembers playing at HollyCross bar in East St Louis IL. This would be in the time frame of about 1963/64. I'm guessing he would have been about 17/18 yrs old. He had the nick name of Frank Buck then. I was told anything above 5.00 he would dog the money ball. lol Maybe he would remember Red Ball Rudy or Bill Hendricks.
