I may be in the atlanta area soon and was curious if there are any 9 ball tournaments during the week or weekends bar table or big table.

Mr. Cues II,
has a couple of tournaments a week. Friday is the one pocket tournament. And there is a 9 ball one other day, I forgot which day though. Hope this helps! Mr. Cues II is located off of I-285 at Tucker, Chamblee rd. North. Hope you find it OK! Phone: 770-454-7665.

Mr. Cues II

Monday: handicapped nineball single elimination. All players are welcome and you can expect to see anywhere from 20 - 30 players. It is handicapped by race, i.e., games on the wire, as opposed to wild balls. It is on nine foot gold crowns.

Tues: no tournaments.

Weds: handicapped one pocket tournament. Anyone can play. Race to one double elimination. handicapped by ball count and break.

Thurs: no tournaments

Fri: high handicappers tournament. No A or B players allowed to compete.

Mr. Cues offers all the cheap one-pocket action you can stand. play starts from 11:30 AM until 3 AM. You won't find a busier pool room in all of creation. I will warn you, however, roadies hate having to deal with all the lock artists that frequent the place...
 
marietta billiard club....saturday 9 ball tournament.(starts about 8 or 8:30pm..if you are in the running...you leave about 3 am....double elimination
 
9 ball tourny on Fridays at Tara Billiards in Jonesboro (just south of Atlanta) on bar tables. When are you planning on being down? Cues in Canton also has a 9 ball tourny on Sat nights as well.
