MARK GREGORY is the BEST table mechanic in the Southeast! He did an amazing job on our GCV. It plays awesome. You can ask Cliff Joyner, Tader, Sparky, Lynny Samonski, Mitch Yarbrough, Harold MacCabee, Stevie Moore, 8-Ball Paul, and many more.

Thank You for all the great props on my table work.
Also to you John, for giving me so much support working on you're pool tables. Trust me, this GCV table is a truly awesome table for action.

The pockets are 4.1/8" corners, and the sides are 4.1/2".
Great for one-pocket and awesome for 9-ball.

I did sub-rail extension ( NO SHIMED POCKETS )

The rail height is 1 29/64" the cushions play perfect.

If you need sub-rail extension on your table, please give me a call.
Johnny Archer loves the GCV table I set-up for him.
Table pocket size (CORNER 4.1/4 side 4.1/2)

Thank You

marks work is without a doubt the best i have ever seen. he spends the time to get the table to play as perfect as a table can play. it doesnt matter what brand table either...they all play jam-up when hes finished.

Yeah, it used to be funny to me, that Mark actually made every table he did play perfect. Not really good. Perfect. Even if it was in a guy's house that used it purely for furniture and would never know the difference. That is one of the things that I respect most about Mark. And man, that table plays great. The pockets are a bit tight, but it rolls so good and has good enough lighting that is plays right, imo. I don't mind smaller pockets, as long as I can see the balls, and roll them when necessary. Great table, and great room John, see you guys soon. Matt B

Since everyone is jumping on the Mark Gregory band wagon I might as well. Mark is a cool cat and does great work. Now where is my jelly for those comments? :D

One other place that is worth noting is Mazzy's in Alpharetta ( 15 minutes from the Ravinia). It is more of a sports bar environment, but has eleven 8 foot Olhousens and lots of dart boards. To me it has the best environment to have fun if you want to play some and have a good time. There is some small action there as well, mostly $20 t $50 sets and the competition is more middle of the road. At Cues II or the Pool Room you can get in higher dollar matches and more serious competition. Mazzy's has league night on Wednesday and Thursday and there are a few Local Brits that play if your interested in seeing some of your countrymen. They also have a 9ball tourney on Saturday and an 8ball tourney on Sunday. Last bit of info, the beer selection is good there and you can actually meet a cute girl or two if that is on your agenda. You will not get that at Cues

my only gripe with mazzy's is that it's a lot like playing in a closet. you can hardly move if it's crowded. i used to shoot league there on tuesdays. they also run ladies only apa on mondays. and as far as hot looking women - the pool room. hands down. the staff, the patrons, all of 'em. mazzys is a close second with cues being almost devoid of good looking women. and as i type this i am glad my girl friend isn't on az and if she ever sees this - honey i don't even know there are other women in any of the rooms i shoot in:wink:

Oh, as far as the staff goes, eye-candy-wise, Johnny and Kim's room is quite choice. :D

Thanks Matt, I've just redone the table again for the third time in 6 months.
Wow, wait till you play on the table now.

Lot's of action coming, I've been so busy right now, I haven't played 3 games yet on the table. Maybe that's a good thing cause if I see something I don't like, I'll tear the table down and do it again.:(

No I think I've got it as good as it can get for now.

Thanks Everyone for the kind words. :D
