Just in off the wire:

Duane Bourgeous loses a heart breaker to Tommy Kennedy. After being down 5-1, Duane came back to 6-5 and shoots the nine ball a little hard to get perfect shape which he didn't need on the ten ball and the nine comes back onto the table for Kennedy to win 7-5.

Johnny Archer loses to Larry Nevel. Archer reportedly was irked by something Larry was doing but don't know the details so I can't speculate.

Any other reports.

Crosby, Deuel, and either 70 or 90 players are there to pick up on the $8,000.00 ADDED MONEY. I could shoot myself. Me, I picked up a coll $75 at Buffalo's FREE POOL TOURNAMENT today. It's probably more than I would have won in Atlanta.:D

Only 48 players!?

Front page of AZ says only 48 players showed up... A poor showing for $8k added imo.

I heard there were more players than that but didn't get an accurate count..

Pensacola, FL would have stacked them in like cord wood. (Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida)

Maybe Nine Ball would have made that trip. :D

I'm here at Mr. Cue's now - they're getting ready to start another set of matches - I'll post some fresh info later.

Archer is raping his poor opponent 6-zip right now. Nevel up 4-1. (both on one-loss side!)

2:30 good matches - Owen/Deuel, Ferrell/Ulrich.

Deuel up 1-0 with a B&R off a soft break. Same soft break and rack pattern didn't work on the second rack - left himself hooked, Owen is at the table.
 
Deuel gets out in the end, 2-0. Same rack/break, scratches this time.

Ferrell andUlrich have started, both with equally terrible lags. :)
 
Deuel up 6-1. Owen threw an easy out away a couple games back. :(

Ulrich is up 2-1 on Ferrell. And for Joey, Pinegar and Roberts are tied 2-2. :)
 
Owen makes a big mistake, Deuel reurns the favor, Owen gets a game. Deuel up 6-3.

Ferrell and Ulrich 2-2. Pinegar up 4-2.

I was just about to give you rep for the updates and then you leave the only match I give a crap about right now on the hill?????

I just played Louis some when he was in SD last week. I would've expected him to take it down.... oh well.

Will someone that is there tell Corey to give Tommy a call at 706-768-1993 if he and Gabe or Johnny or whomever wants to play golf on Tuesday if they are still gonna be around. We can play at Chateau Elan for free.
