Atlas blanks? What do you think?

I was wondering what is more practical (financially)...Buying a predator or Annie O shaft directly or having someone turn a Atlas blank down to my own specs?

Its more like a question of what would be cheaper....Buying a Annie O's Pro Plus for $250 or buying a similar blank from Atlas for $75 and having it turned down.

The price will be pretty close, possibly a tad higher for custom fitting. If you can get a finished shaft that will fit your cue properly, I would go that route. If you need a better fit, or want a better match to your trim rings, then look at having someone finish out a blank.

new shaft

Predator= about $250
Annie O= about $225-$250
Custom Builder = about $125-$200 depending on complexity of ringset and how hungry he is.

You decide from here.

Hi Wes,
I can do Predators for considerably less than $250 if they don't require CNC ringwork. I don't do CNC and I'd need to see a pic before offering a quote.

If you want a Annie O shaft and know someone who has one forsale you should buy it. I am sorry to have to tell you that Annie O recently passed away after a short battle with cancer.
